Sr. Software Engineer 

Job Description:

Use algorithms and data structures for design, analysis and evaluation. Design and develop NoSQL and GraphDB solutions; graph analytics; modeling; search engines. Use mathematics statistics concepts, including graph theory. Perform multi-threading. Utilize C#, .Net, C, C++, MFC, RPC, COM/DCOM, Inter-op, TCP/IP, MVC, ADO.Net, WCF, SQL Server, Lucene; KV Stores; Clustering; Fault Tolerance  

Requirements:

Master's Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering + minimum 2 years experience as Software Engineer, Network Engineer, Staff Engineer, Manager (in IT) or related.

Strong J2EE Developer

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be an accomplished technical leader, proactive customer-focused advocate, a team player with substantial software engineering experience, preferably with some experience within the Health Care industry. Including the following attributes:
5 years of full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment.
5 years of development experience with development tools including Java (EJB, Servlets, and JSP/JSF) and Windows (.NET, C#, .ASP). Development must consist of deployed, large distributed systems across multiple platforms.
2+ years of development experience on SQL databases (Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server) and XML
2 years of web development experience including HTML, DHTML and other server-side technologies
1 year of Object Oriented design and development
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect, design, code, and implement highly scalable and reliable web applications using Java and .NET technologies.
Develop and deploy applications for various application servers including JBoss and WebSphere.
Develop software components to support data enrichment and transformation in a high traffic transactional data and data warehouse environment.
Provide advanced web based solutions through the development of web technologies that include HTML, JSP/JSF, .NET, and EJB. The services require high levels of scalability and flexibility across multiple platforms including Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, and AIX.
Provide fully distributed web solutions that incorporate standard network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and basic sockets.
Provide the ability to setup and administer high availability web architectures including multiple firewalls, proxies, multiple web servers, database servers, and application servers.
Provide database design in standard relational databases such as Oracle, DB2 and SQLServer.
Provide standard data formats using XML and associated interrogation and building libraries in Java and Window environments.
Provide advance setup and administration of web servers including Microsoft IIS and Apache. This includes adding server side plugins and scripts, setting up security, and virtual directory and servers.
Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements.
Produce high quality software following best practices.
Produce excellent, thorough, and concise requirements, design, and development documentation.
Provide the ability to setup and administer high availability web architectures including multiple firewalls, proxies, multiple web servers, database servers, and application servers.
Design, model, develop, and support complex software systems and data warehouses; responsible for assembly and control of completed systems (including all components regardless of source – self, others, commercial, legacy).
Responsible for design and maintenance of program objects, shared libraries, and complete programs and systems, as well as the associated access control and security mechanisms.
Perform source code control, and develop and institute programming and control standards across entire team(s).
Conduct end-user technical training where applicable

Position: Pega Systems Developer

Title: PEGA Developer/Engineer
Scope: The PEGA PRPC developer is responsible for designing and developing software for short and long term engagements, supporting various initiatives. The developer will work in conjunction with the team lead, other developers and business analysts to develop and implement applications to support project directives.

Qualifications:

Strong experience with PEGA PRPC, CPM and other frameworks
Strong SQL scripting skills
Experience developing Unix shell scripts
Experience developing and maintaining J2EE applications
Must be able to multi-task
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational and teamwork skills
Ideal candidates will have experience with Web Services, XML, and the complete development lifecycle

The primary responsibilities of the job are:
Develop technical specifications

Develop and deliver program code according to defined standards
Ensure project standards and service levels are met
Produce timely and accurate project status reports
Work closely with business analysts to ensure applications developed in a manner to satisfy agreed upon functional requirements

Lead Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for working with product managers in developing business requirements based on customer and market analysis. The business analyst is also responsible for assuring that business requirements are documented in sufficient detail for development to properly deliver the desired product. The candidate must be able to work both externally and internally to gather, define and communicate requirements. 10- 20% travel may be required. The business analyst must ensure that correct business functionality, requirements, and industry standards are addressed within the computer applications. Close interaction with QA and participation in user’s acceptance test in will be needed. The successful candidate will have both the functional knowledge of the Health Payer arena and IT knowledge necessary for ensuring the successful implementation of system applications and data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. The candidate must have excellent communication skills with peers, supervisors, and customers and be able to work with various departments.
Depending on specific project assignments role may include:
Performing tasks in support of a systems development lifecycle including, equirements definition, functional specifications, use case scenarios, test plans, documentation, training, and implementation.
Participating in the development of story boards and mockups of application interfaces and process flows
Making presentations on business practices, industry standards, and functional design working with the development team as part of the solution design and change management processes.
Facilitating, motivating, and coordinating activities of user, and vendor personnel assigned to a specific project.
Working with client and market advocates (such as product management and account management) to determine system/business objectives and solutions.
Training new users on the system and assisting with change management for new releases; developing test plans; testing new applications and maintenance releases.
Working directly with end users in utilizing the internal client developed systems.
Establishing, reviewing, and validating action and decisions relative to system design and programming.
Gaining an in-depth understanding of customer data for purposes of modeling, mapping and integrating data into a data warehouse.
Working with customers to evaluate and ensure the overall integrity of data and reporting results in meeting business needs and use requirements.
Business Administration or Computer related Bachelors Degree is preferred
Five+ years of Health Payer Business Administration and Healthcare IT experience
Well-developed analytical skill set and problem solving skills
Experience with standard query languages, analytic and reporting tools is highly desirable
Strong data and data warehousing orientation
Data modeling experience a plus
Experienced in Healthcare industry business practices and Payer Operations
Understanding of Healthcare Payer claims and other administrative data, HIPAA standard transaction and code set standards, industry code classifications such as ICD9, CPT, National Drug Codes, etc.
Strong data analysis and medical informatics skills
Strong technical orientation (highly computer literate)
Use case and requirements definition experience
Good interpersonal skills and customer presence

BA/Tester

The BA II/III tester must have the ability to review functional and technical requirements and/or design specifications to find holes in features, inconsistencies, lack of clarity, lack of details and identify contradictions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, with other duties as assigned.

Write and implement test cases, using technical requirements or design specifications
Conduct detailed analysis of test results found through both manual and automated testing
Ability to write technical, logical test cases and business scenarios
